Ticketing for venues that sell a time, not a seat.
tea-cat runs timed-entry exhibitions from the first ticket to the last scan. The slot chart, the group booking, the payment and the door are one system, and your team can operate all of it.

Eleven o’clock carries a group hold. Thirty places, paid by link within forty-eight hours, or back on sale automatically.
Most ticketing systems were built to sell a seat at eight o’clock on Friday. A timed-entry venue sells something else: forty places at half past eleven, thirty of them just promised to a school group that hasn’t paid yet, in a building where the Wi-Fi gives up at the door.
tea-cat is built for that, and nothing else.
What a timed-entry system has to get right
Capacity that holds
50 capacity − 10 sold − 4 held = 36 on sale
Every slot has one number, and four limits protect it: the event default, the slot itself, how much of it each ticket type may take, and how many places one order may carry. Holds count against availability the moment they are placed, and a purchase locks the slot row, so two people buying the last two places never both succeed.
Group bookings that settle
30 people — held 48h — one QR, or thirty
Your team issues a group ticket on a slot at an agreed price. tea-cat places the hold, sends a Stripe payment link and issues nothing until the money lands. Choose one code that admits the whole coach or one for each visitor. Groups may exceed a slot on purpose, and the chart tells you by how much.
A door that works without Wi-Fi
scan, admit, reconcile later
The entrance app keeps the day’s tickets on the iPad. Scans admit and record while the connection is down, and settle when it returns. Staff sell at the door on any ticket type, with the slot limit out of the way where it belongs.
Every desk its own business
desk = Stripe account, currency, staff
A ticket desk carries its own connected Stripe account, currency, timezone, branding, staff and roles. Reports, refunds and fees stay inside it. Your second venue is configuration, not a second installation.
Bring your next venue on.
